CASOS Summer Institute 2011 - Where to stay:

** Please note: Dorm accomodations at CMU are now at capacity. There are no more dorm rooms available. **

For students dormitory rooms will be available in Boss House. All other attendees will need to book a room in a local hotel. Wyndham Garden, Shadyside Inn, and the Holiday Inn University Center are the hotels closest to CMU.

CMU Dormitory Room Rates:
Please note: Dorm Rooms are not Co-ed.

$68/night for single occupancy
$38/night for double occupancy (would be sharing a room with another summer institute attendee)

Note: There are limited rooms availible. They will be reserved on a first come first served basis.

Please reference the 2011 CASOS Summer Institute when you make your reservations. When the information is received, the attendee will be contacted within 72 hours to confirm all information is correct and obtain credit card information. Each participant will be able to pay online using his/her credit card.

You should also indicate if you will need parking. You can purchase parking passes through conference services when you reserve your dorm room.

Additional Details About Dorming:

For those individuals staying in campus housing, you can pick-up your room key at Donner House upon arrival; the Donner House office is staffed 24 hours a day and seven days a week. However please let us know if you will be arriving at some time other than between the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

You will then be directed to your housing assignment in Boss Hall (5126 Margaret Morrison Street). This is approximately a 4 - 5 minute walk from Donner House.

1 pillow case
1 flat sheet
1 fitted sheet
2 wash cloths
2 hand towels
2 bath towels
1 bath mat
1 blanket/ comforter

The following will NOT be provided:

Hangers
Hair dryer
Iron/ ironing board
Toiletries

There is no formal procedure for check-out; your room key will automatically expire.
