Simulation Applications
The Applications Section focuses on advancing the state of applications of social agent modeling and simulation (SAMS).
Its goals include encouraging discourse on
- requirements for social agent modeling applications to support decision-making and policy analysis
- implications of applications for social theory
- approaches for improving model credibility, validation, and acceptance
- how agent-based methods and toolkits can best meet the general needs of the agent-based applications modeling community
The section will organize meetings, newsletters, websites, mailing lists and/or special journal issues to achieve its objectives, including the fostering of dialog among SAMS application developers, social theorists, and the user community.
